SALSA FOR LIFE: Get ready to learn Salsa with a fun, foundational approach. These open level, beginner-friendly classes build your skills step by step, covering the fundamentals of leading and following, as well as a multitude of Rueda de Casino moves (Cuban Salsa circle dance). No partner or experience needed—just bring your dance energy! ABOUT US With a shared love of Latin dance and a background in education, Salsa has been our constant passion, and combined with teaching, a journey of growth. When Hannah's colleagues at St. Andrew's Primary asked to learn Salsa for staff wellbeing, classes kicked off, and our dedication to sharing this art form, expand the local dance community, and deepen our appreciation for its rich cultural history continues. WHY SALSA? • Fitness Boost: Salsa is a lively, full-body workout that enhances cardio, balance, and coordination. • Mood Lift: Dancing is a natural stress-reliever that brings joy and keeps you in the moment. • Community Connection: Salsa fosters trust, social confidence, and a welcoming dance community. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN • Steps, connection & frame: build a solid base for partner work. • A great selection of moves. • Concepts and techniques through clear instruction. EVENT DETAILS • When: Wednesdays during school term. Doors open at 4:20 pm. 4:30 – 5.30 Open level Rueda de Casino (Salsa circle dance) 5:30 – 6:15 Beginner Salsa • Where: St Andrew's School, Belfast Street, Hove BN3 3YT (next to The Urchin pub). Enter via the big wooden gates. • What to bring: comfortable, non-grip shoes, water, and a smile! READY TO DANCE, CONNECT, AND FEEL GREAT? Amy set it up after moving back to her childhood city and wanting to meet people in their 20s and 30s who had lots of different interests, not just one. It’s a space where everyone is welcome 🤍 We make friends through nature with hikes, crafting, coffees and chats ☕🌿 with socials run at cost or free to keep things accessible. We work with craft in draft Brighton to make a friendly socials together ☺️
