A relaxed and fun book club that priorities making friends and a chatty evening 💖 Mission Statement Founded in 2017, Words, Wine & Wit Book Club is a global, inclusive, and intersectional feminist community that celebrates literature. Our mission is to foster a love for reading, promote diverse voices, and create a safe space for meaningful discussions. How it all works... - Each month, we select a thought-provoking book for our members to read and explore. - On the Friday of the month, we come together for engaging discussions. We also have vibrant discussions on our Discord server and Facebook wall for international members, providing additional opportunities for connection. - We understand that life can get busy, so while we encourage reading the book, we respect that it may not always be possible. - We encourage supporting local bookstores, charity shops, and libraries to promote a thriving literary community. - Feel free to share your current reads, bookish news, and anything else related to books and Bookstagram. - Stay tuned for announcements about exciting events, including opportunities to connect with authors. If you are passionate about our mission and values, we also welcome individuals to start their own chapters of the Words, Wine & Wit Book Club. So far, we have chapters in Cambridge, Hertfordshire/Essex and Suffolk. Follow us on Instagram and X (Twitter) @wordswineandwitbookclub Join the conversation using our hashtags #WordsWineandWitBookClub and #WordsWineandWitBuddyRead
