Feminist Fiction Leeds

A monthly in-person bookclub where we read what it says on the cover - Feminist fiction. It doesn’t have to be female writers, just any books of the fictional genre, which give a platform to the voice/voices of women. This is an already established bookclub that is currently run on Instagram @feminist.fiction.leeds, so please do follow us on there. We meet once a month, usually on the last Friday of each month at a restaurant. Barriers to entry are very low, so the restaurant is always affordable and the book we choose is always available in paperback or at your local library. The book for the next month is chosen at the same meeting. Throughout the month, if there is a book or two that you would like me to consider, just send that to me as a message and I’ll take in everyone’s nominations and choose three and we can vote on those as a group! The club does more than meet up for book discussions. We have attended book events together and the best thing is that there is always a friend available to grab a coffee with if you join and message. This club is for anyone looking for a community of kindhearted and supportive friends. Just turn up and you’ll be so welcomed! The limit for each meeting is 18 individuals.
